Readers Theatre

Here are some of the Readers Theatre ideas that I have used over time. I've always had a flair for the dramatic and have found a way to incorporate them into every subject. I started doing a weekly Readers Theatre when I taught an extremely low group in Florida. It is a fantastic way to build fluency. Most have a picture book connection. I usually read the picture book and then have the students read the plays in small groups. I have one binder that I keep them all inside in ABC order to make it easy for me. For the students, I just pass them out. My dream is to have a small binder like mine for every student.

Since I have never actually wrote a Readers Theatre script I have supplied the links where you can find the same ones that I use.
