Treasures Reading Ideas

When my school district adopted the Treasures Reading Series, I was thrilled. I loved that everything was interlaced and all-inclusive. However, after teaching it now for a few years, I also realized that I need a place to put all of the amazing resources that I have found in one location. These resources may be book ideas, videos, PowerPoint Presentations, and other items.

I created a Curriculum Map that has all of the skills and strategies along with the books that I use as read-alouds.

In our school we use a Six or Seven Day Rotation. It has made it so much easier to fit it all in. Here is the 7-day rotation schedule that I use for planning to so I can remember when I'm doing what and when. This year our district went to a 6-day rotation schedule.
